As DBI’s Accounts Officer, it is my responsibility to take care of the company’s finances. It is my duty to formulate and to implement the organization’s financial plans, and to keep account records up-to-date. I may seem to analyze numbers and figures most of the time, but every now and then, I simply copy and paste things on the Internet as well.
On weekends or during the holidays when not at work, I devote most of my time to family. As our existence on earth is always uncertain, one of my life goals include being able to witness my children in stable status. Financial security is also one of the things in my bucket list, so I dream of hitting the jackpot prize in the lottery. I believe in life after death, and so I wish to be with God in the afterlife.
For now, I live purposefully as I could. “Every man dies, but not every man really lives.” This is one of the insightful lines of the character portraying the Scottish hero, Sir William Wallace, in the epic biographical movie, Braveheart. Indeed, only those who fear death are probably the ones with much regrets in life. This lifetime offers us a lot, and we have to be clever and courageous with the choices we make.
“You can never cross the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore.”
